Summer Skincare Favorites

I’ve rounded up a some skincare products I’ve been loving lately. I’ve really been trying to focus a lot on my skin since I’ve been noticing a few more fine lines here and there. Honestly, if you remember picking toys out at K.B Toys, it’s time to use a serum.

Facial Cleansing Oil with argon & coconut oil | $5.99 / Trader Joe’s.

I recently just discovered this, this past weekend and oh my I love it so much already. My skin has been getting a lot more oily ever since we moved to Louisiana. I remembered when I went to cosmetology school they said to moisturize your skin when its oily that way your skin knows to stop producing so much oils. I feel like this really helps to get all my makeup off without drying out the rest of skin. Best part is it’s cruelty free too!

Just To Clarify, jelly face mask | $13.95 / Lush

This is a new product to my collection as well, it’s a jelly mask so you only have to pinch off a tiny bit and work into the skin and leave on about 10 mins. This little pot has lasted me a while now, and it smells so good. It’s great for your off exfoliating days, it has ‘scrubby bamboo’ and it’s a real fine grit {for those people who love fresh skin, like me}. The enzymes in the papaya juice give you a great glow!

Cup O’Coffee, face and body mask | $11.95 / Lush

This makes my skin feel and look like no other face product, first of all has fresh ground coffee {who doesn’t love that?}. It’s what I use to exfoliate my face, and the coffee just scrubs away all the impurities and dry skin. This is definitely my must have.

ACWELL 5.5, licorice pH balancing & cleansing toner | SOKO Glam / $18.00

If you have blackhead problems, the toner is a life changer! It doesn’t give immediate results, but with a little bit of patience and time it has helped mine like nothing else has. It hydrates the skin as well as refining skin texture {which is exactly my problem}. Also a little goes a long way, and my skin is glowing and so dewy after using this.

MARIO BADESCU, facial spray | Ulta Beauty / $7.00

Because I’m extra I always use after toner, and before applying and any serums or moisturizers. I know that this is a very popular product and there are several reasons why. My favorite spray is the aloe, chamomile, and lavender. It smells pretty, and always leaves my skin fresh and bright. You can use this before applying make-up, or after as well.

TruSkin Naturals Serum, vitamin c, e, & hyaluronic acid | Amazon $19.99

Let me just start off by saying I do not promote buying skincare products off of Amazon, but I read all the reviews for this brand and did my research before hand. Some Amazon sellers can have fake reviews, and also a lot of time they switch out products of name brand items and put in something that is not what you think you’re paying for { or that you would want to be putting on your skin}. However I did do my research and felt comfortable with purchasing this product. So basically I started noticing these lines in my forehead and some fine lines on my skin, so I decided to purchase this. This helps tighten that skin and I’ve also noticed gets rid of scars, and sunspots. This is another thing that will not give you a dramatic difference overnight, but with long term I have found it making my skin appear more youthful.
