Hey friends so I know we are half-way through January right now, but I really wanted to sit down and think about my 2019 goals. I don’t like coming up with random resolutions just because. I like for them to mean something, and challenge me to better myself. Let’s jump right into it, shall we?
Read More:
This is a goal that I set last year, and I actually did read way more than I have in such a long time. I enjoy reading but this year I want to at least read one book every month. I know it probably doesn’t sound like much. So instead of watching television I want to replace that mindless time with something better for myself.
Better Lifestyle & Revenge Body:
This year is GOING to be the year that I finally get the body that I’ve always wanted. So in order to be able to do that, I have to be better about what I’m fueling my body. I will say last year we were pretty good food wise but when we’re in a hurry is where we mess up. It’s time to start eating for purpose and not for pleasure.
Travel:
This is probably a little generic but hey it’s what I would like to accomplish! Justin (my fiancé) and I both come from families that didn’t and don’t travel much. We were never taken on luxurious vacations or those simple family vacations to the beach. This is something we’ve aspired for a few years now. We want our son to grow up with some knowledge of different cultures and the world to not be so un-known. I think we never realized how important it is travel until we started seeing how beautiful the world can really be! We actually got to go to a lot of new places, and want to continue that journey.
Blogging Goals:
- Grow following to at least 10k
- Let followers into personal life a little more
- Make more blogging friends
- Work with more brands I love
- Get to know my followers
- Better Outfits
- Holiday photoshoots
The next step after figuring out the goals you have set this year, is to make a vision board. If you need help or don’t even know what vision boards are click here and check out reasons you should be making one. They really are so helpful and I made mine last year and so many things from that board came to life!
Tell me what are your goals? Do you have business and personal? Do you make vision boards? Let me know, in the comments or message me on IG!
