Hello to all, and welcome to my Luna Silk Hair Extensions Review! I have been gifted a set of chocolate brown hair extensions and I can not wait to share with you all. I have been super excited about this special post. So let’s jump in and get started!
First and foremost, the owner and CEO has been a dream to work with. She is super sweet and works extremely hard. She’s definitely an inspiration especially to all the boss babes. So if you get a chance to read her backstory I 100% recommend it. Check out the website here!!

If you didn’t watch my unboxing video where I talk all about the packaging it’s under my beauty highlights on Instagram. I love that they come with something to store the extensions when you have the wefts out. You could store them in the plastic envelope they originally come in or in the paper envelope (pictured above).
I was so ecstatic to see that the quality of this hair had exceeded my expectations. The hair is minimally processed, and is double drawn remy hair. Double drawn basically means that in the extra step of manufacturing they remove all the shorter hairs. If you don’t know, remy also means it’s the finest quality of human hair since the cuticles are kept intact. So since its real hair you can definitely use styling tools on them as well as color (only if you need to). Hair extensions are a beauty investment and should be well taken care of.

Details.
The color I received was the chocolate brown #4, set. I love that there were many color options; but not too many wear it gets confusing. I have dark brown hair, and I have a little bit of highlights in them. I do feel like they match really great! Plus as you add all the wefts they tend to blend really well.
Every set comes with exactly 7 wefts.
- One, 4-clip weft.
- Three, 3-clip wefts
- Two, 2-clips.
- One, 1-clip and one extra weft with some extra clips as well.
I opted for the 20-inch length which equals out to 160 grams in weight. When looking for hair extensions its important to take the grams into consideration when purchasing. Do you know how many times I’ve almost purchased super thin hair extensions? When buying extensions you want to see how many wefts are included and the grams. You wouldn’t want 8 wefts and only 80 grams of hair, because then you would end up with some thin hair wefts. Also if their website doesn’t state either one of those, you should not be buying from them. Any hair extensions business should be upfront about those things especially!

Furthermore, from my own personal research Luna Silk Hair Extensions are really affordable compared to others. Also I looked at some big hair brands and they’re 2x’s the price and half the hair.
Another thing I’ve noticed is the clips do not give any troubles. They grip the hair and I don’t get that annoying pain of one tiny hair being pulled! I don’t think I can recommend these enough. I love the quality, branding, and the message behind the company. Like I stated above the quality has 100% exceeded all expectations.
If anyone has any questions ask them below in the comment section and I’ll be happy to answer as many as possible. In the meantime check out my other beauty related posts here!
