Hello glorious readers, it’s the new year and today I’m going to be talking about skincare products to help get you glowing. The new year is when we put our best foot forward and start taking action on improving ourselves. With the chaos of holidays sometimes we forget about self-care. New year, new glow!
In this post I will be talking about products that are my tried and true. These items have worked amazingly for my skin and I fully believe in them. With that being said, just because it works great for me doesn’t mean it will for others. So lets jump in shall we?
Also if you would like to check out my YouTube video for a little more insight, I’ll leave it below!

Cleanser:
I have been using the Tula cleanser for a few weeks now and just like any other Tula product, I’m obsessed! Not trying to sound too basic, but this brand knows what they’re doing when it comes to skin. It has a gel consistency but it lathers well. Tula claims that it deep cleans the without stripping the skin of moisture, and I have to follow up and say it’s true.
Exfoliation & Masks
Microdelivery exfoliating face wash: If you are one who likes to exfoliate daily this is the product for you. Your skin feels baby bottom smooth after washing with this.
Pixi Peel & Polish: This is a great for exfoliating every couple of days, and gives your skin the best refreshed look.
Pixi Glow Mud Mask: Mud masks are seriously underrated, and if you’re not using one go get this one now! Mud masks are great for minimizing blemishes, blackheads, and pores. I like to use about once or twice a week.

Toner:
Lets talk about toners and what they do exactly first. Toners are for minimizing pores, which means if you have a breakout and you’re not using toner. I one-hundred percent recommend one. I used to have a lot of issues with my skin and it started to decrease when I used toner. When looking for toners, be sure to find one with glycolic acid. Glycolic acid, removes the outermost layer dead skin cells. Therefor, it’s great for scarring, skin discoloration, and signs of aging.
Pixi Glow Tonic: For the best glow possible, use this! I am not exaggerating, it is my go to. I am fortunate enough to be gifted the glow tonic by Pixi, but let me tell you if I run out I am running to Target to get more!
Tula Pro-Glycolic: One thing that is great about Tula is their products are a lot more concentrated so in reality, you really do use less. This toner has lasted me such a long time, and it’s somewhat drying so I do recommend a good moisturizer afterwards. Other than that, I only have great things to say, have no complaints.
Serum
Before moisturizing you should always put any serum on first. Furthermore, if you are not familiar serums are a lighter than moisturizers but penetrate ingredients deeper into the skin. Overtime they can increase moisture levels.
No 7: The early defense glow serum is on that I’ve recently added to my skincare. It gives off a blurring effect and definitely brightens the appearance.
Pixi Tonic Serum: Pixi skincare is seriously one of the best! This tonic truly gives you the most refreshing glow, while adding moisture and nutrients.
Farmacy Honeymoon Glow: This serum is very potent. For example, sometimes when I break out and apply it does sting a little bit. It’s nothing unbearable, but let me tell you when I wake up- I can see results!

Moisturizer
Last but not least, you can not moisturize your skin enough. Whether you have dry or oily skin you should always apply a great moisturizer. The Glassy Skin Balm, is actually a primer but it’s basically a two-in-one. It’s probably the best product I’ve discovered (shoutout to Boxycharm for sending). In the mornings, my skin does not look dull and the best way to achieve a glow is to hydrate the skin as much as possible.
